
AMR Innovation Challenge
Supported by the World Health Organization (WHO), the AMR Innovation Challenge is organized by the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) to raise awareness of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
The key objective of this challenge is to spotlight the importance of combating AMR and to promote the development of innovative communication campaigns that can influence Singaporeans to prioritize actions to prevent AMR.

Winner: $500
1st Runner Up: $300
2nd Runner Up: $200

Shortlisted teams stand to win attractive prizes and have a chance to pitch their ideas to WHO representatives, academic representatives and advocates of AMR on 16 September 2023, from 9 am to 12 pm in SUSS.
The winning team's leader/representative will also be invited to the WHO Regional Office for Western Pacific in Manila, Philippines* to share the team's ideas and stories. The winning team will be part of the media team to implement the live campaign.

Applicants of this category will be tasked to curate creative and effective marketing collaterals to raise awareness of AMR.
Examples of marketing collaterals include:

Social Media Posts (with Visuals and Caption)

Electronic Direct Mail (EDMs)
Applicants of this category will need to come up with a thorough and creative marketing strategy to raise awareness of AMR amongst the target audience.

Applicants should have:

Interest in Public Health
Applicants should have some interest in Public Health and to address the issue of AMR.

Passion for the Creatives
We are looking for innovative individuals who can think outside the box to come up with effective and creative solutions to raise awareness of AMR.

Strong Communication Skills
Effective communication is key to succeed in this challenge. Applicants should have strong communication abilities and be able to relay their ideas clearly and concisely.
